2014 FIFA WORLD CUP IN BRAZIL

LTT came out tops in a competitive tender conducted by the Headline Sponsor of the Black Stars, the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) in 2014 to select on eligible travel and tour operator, and was thus appointed to provide hospitality services to nearly 100 corporate executives and stakeholders of the GNPC to the Brazil World Cup.

LTT, leveraging the experience gained from the 2010 World Cup  in South Africa, was able to charter an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 787 Dreamliner to do 3 rotations to and from Natal, in partnership with Travel Matters carrying in total over 800 people, including over 600 fans sponsored by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

LTT’s flagship clients, GNPC and other corporate clients from the Ndoum Groupe and other high net-worth individuals paid for and were delivered full packages ranging from flights to luxury accommodation, local transport, match tickets, chartered internal flights to Fortaleza and Brasilia on TAM airlines, medical facilities and insurance. The group also enjoyed local Ghanaian cuisine provided by Auntie Pokua who along with her assistant was sponsored to Brazil for that purpose.

The whole Brazil world cup project was so efficiently handled, thanks to the September put in place by LTT that Ghanaians who were shown to Brazil enjoyed a never-to-be-forgotten experience, unlike those ordinary fans who travelled on the ticket on rival tour operators.
